Have You Ever Considered This?

Have you ever considered a disabled or physically challenged individual’s need to receive a fresh new hair cut, shampoo & style or just a nice clean shave?

The one problem the person in need faces is she/he is homebound and cannot visit a salon. I can only imagine how discouraged and helpless one must feel.  Not long ago someone thought about the person with special needs and decided to make a difference. You see, the need to receive personal grooming or salon services is more than just a pleasant or indulging experience. It is an experience that lifts a person’s spirit; it makes one feel better about her or himself, it gives them a stronger sense of self esteem and for some, it helps them to simply appreciate the day!

If you have a loved one or friend who has a need for in home salon care and you knew that such a service existed; would you tell them about it? Would you go out of your way to help them receive the service even to the extreme of paying for the service if they are unable to do so? If you really knew how much that one kind deed meant to a homebound person, you would do it over and over again.

Well guess what, we know people who are willing to help in providing such great services to well deserving people. In addition, we know people who need the services.

People like my mother, your father, your sister or brother, perhaps even your best friend’s son or daughter. Nonetheless, they are all people with like needs that we collectively must help.
